Scientist, communicator, artist.
Science Pit is my #SciComm project its main goal is to bring Biology to everyone, in an engaging and interesting way.
I also very much enjoy field trips, so occasionally I blog about that as well.

Emina Horvat Velić

I’m a Master’s student interested in Neuroscience (neurodegeneration); I’m writing my thesis at the Croatian Institute for Brain Research, in the Laboratory for developmental neuropathology.

I’m interested in coding – I have a basic knowledge of R, and would like to learn Python as well.

In my free time, I enjoy writing and reading, photography, and playing sports. I’m also a big fan of online courses, such as Coursera.

Languages: Croatian, English, German, Japanese (A1.1)

Published scientific articles can be found on my ResearchGate profile.
