My name is Emina and I am a Molecular Biologist interested in all things nature and science!

Since I was a child I was fascinated by the world around me and wanted to learn more about it; like most of you, I was chasing butterflies across meadows, catching frogs in suspicious ponds, and seeking explanations in dusty encylopaedias.

The idea for Science Pit was born a couple of years ago, during one of my classes. I realized that I really wanted to create content about science, primarily Biology, that would inspire and educate people. Essentially, I wanted to share my knowledge in an understandable and fun way, accessible to everyone.
